What we publish

• Cases and facts from public sources: agency releases, court records, public databases and published reporting.
• Every fact links to a source. Summaries are written in our own words.
• Photos and video only when they're official releases, public domain or openly licensed (with credit), or embedded from the original channel.
• Community information is labeled "Unverified / community".

What we don't publish

• Anyone named as a suspect unless police or prosecutors did so publicly.
• Identities of minors unless officially released for publicity.
• Graphic images, private addresses or phone numbers of private people.

Discussion moderation

Boards are moderated. Posts that get several reports are hidden automatically until reviewed. We remove posts that break the terms.

Corrections

Found a mistake or something out of date? Send a correction with a link to the source if you have one. We review corrections quickly and update the "last checked" date on the case.

Removal requests

Families, people named on the site, and rights holders can ask for something to be removed or changed. Use the correction or removal form, tell us the page and what you'd like changed. Requests from families and people named on the site get priority.

Copyright

If you own media or text you believe is used without permission, send a removal request with the page link, what you own, and how to reach you. We'll take it down while we review it.
