Mae Catherine Rocker, a mother and grandmother from Ocala, Florida, has been missing since April 2003. According to the FBI's Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP), she was last seen in the early morning hours of April 12, 2003, climbing into the passenger seat of a semi-truck in Ocala. The Ocala Police Department is asking both other agencies and the public for help finding her.
Public records about the case differ on the exact date. The FBI alert, released in March 2024, gives April 12, 2003, and an age of 49. NamUs and the Charley Project list a last-contact date of April 7, 2003, and say she was last seen around 4 a.m. near her home in the 1100 block of NW Martin Luther King Avenue. Police have released few other details.
The ViCAP alert lists marks that could help identify her: a visible gap in her front teeth with one front tooth chipped, a surgically placed rod in her right ankle from an earlier fracture, and a pierced right nostril. The alert also includes an age-progressed image of how she might look today.
